電力系統中的燃料涉及的氣體和液體壓力測量較復雜,壓力的量測牽涉到電力系統的生產安全,所用到的壓力表比較多,如汽包壓力指示表、 給水調節閥壓力表、再熱器壓力表、直流鍋爐啟動分離器壓力表、直流鍋爐一次汽水系統截斷閥前壓力表、燃油鍋爐進油和回油壓力表、燃氣鍋爐進氣壓力表、壓縮空氣氣源壓力表、 爐膛負壓表等。這些壓力表要求耐高溫,壽命長等。數字壓力表逐步代替指針式壓力表,以提高安全系數。
